R300 = Perfection Review by Ray
What more can I say? It is quite possibly my favorite lighting piece to
in my list. The build is extremely high quality and the dimmer is such a great option to have. I've seen dimmers on other LED lights but none of them have
the high sensitivity of the R300 and you can dim this all the way down to about 10% power. I bought the 15mm rod plate which still kind of puzzles me sometimes with my setup but that's the least of my worries. Between my 1x1 litepanel and my R300, my R300 easily takes the cake. If you're thinking about getting this light, stop thinking and get it already. You'll be glad you did.
not too mention it looks pretty damn cool at weddings. :D (Posted on 2/23/13)
A++ Great, portable light source Review by A.C.
I've been using my R-300 for two months, and I'm nothing but impressed.
Extremely bright output for such a small LED.
Works great as an off-camera source, nice for outdoor video shoots when an extra kick is needed.
Very portable and battery is small.
Dimmer and 3200º filter works like a charm. Makes this light extremely versatile.
Battery life is decent for small size (about 30-40 minutes), but this light does not come with an AC power source in box, so purchasing at least two batteries is recommended.
The mounting options leave me wanting for a tilt option, but the stand and rail mounts allow for plenty of positing options.
The small size of the light causes the actual "eye circle" effect to be a bit underwhelming if not EXTREMELY close to subject, but I still like the effect the R-300 gives, and I'm actually using this light more as an actual key/fill source for video than as an eye ring light. (Which is amazing, considering it's size!)
Overall, the build quality, filter array, battery life, and sheer light output of the R-300 makes it a MUST to video makers who are working on-location and with small crews.

very impressive Review by unblind
We are satisfied with our ring light. There are so many knock offs, and various versions, its good to get one that is built well and comes at a fair price. (Posted on 2/7/13)
