The new K4000 Daylight Studio Panel light sports 400 pure color power LEDs, offering 2860 Lux @ 1 meter in a self-contained 1'x1' unit. Carefully selected LEDs are put through multiple tests and evaluations to ensure perfect color balance and diode matching. This offers an absolute pure color consistency between LEDs, and a clean daylight calibrated color (5600K).
We have also introduced an all-new Milk-White Diffusion Filter with our K4000, a dense diffusion filter that creates a true soft-box effect. The filter itself sits 5 cm in front of the light, held in place by four support rods. With the filter being offset from the face of the light, it allows the diffusion filter to be illuminated evenly, and creating a proper single light source. Not only does this offer an ultra-soft light but creates just a single shadow. Unlike most 1'x1' panels with open face LED sources which have the tendency for each diode to create cross-angled shadows, the Milk-White Diffusion Filter eliminates this problem, giving you an ultra-soft bright light source.
We have expanded our unique SmartSync Control Circuit (SCC) to our Studio Panels, allowing multiple K4000 Studio Panels to be linked in series. With our optional SCC linking module, link unit together with standard CAT5 cables, or a standard DMX 512 module. When the lights are linked together, the SCC allows you to control light intensity and color temperature of all panels within the series from a single variable dimmer controller or similarly through a DMX board. The SmartSync Control Circuit offers 4 independent channels for linking light groups together.
Perfect for professionals looking to gain complete control over their studio lighting rigs, the K4000 Daylight Panel offers exceptional light quality at an affordable price. With the optional SCC module, the K4000 can help simplify and unify your lighting systems.

Great products Review by Subvoyant
I just returned from the NAB show where I was able to examine these fixtures. One of my main motivators in attending the show was to see lighting manufacturer offerings. 2013 is definitely the year of the LED. In my business, I use HMI, tungstan, kino-flo and litepanels products.
What struck me about all of FV's products was that unlike other Litepanels(brand) competitors, this brand not only beat them on price but delivered the same quality light. LED lights are evolving quickly and for me the key thing I need is color purity. FV delivers. While they manufacture all their own units, they have licensed proven patents from litepanels to assure that they are providing cinema quality color without unpleasant purple spikes in the color spectrum.
I was impressed with all the panels on display and the small ring lite delivers a surprising punch. I'm sold. For my next project I plan to use part of my lighting budget to outfit myself with some FV units. The guys in the booth at NAB were super informative and friendly. (Posted on 4/13/13) -
Amazing! Review by Big Brother
I've worked with Litepanels, Flolight, and a few other Chinese knockoffs. This one for the buck simply rocks. Sturdy for travel, the color is correct, the CRI is pretty good, and the fall off is what you'd expect from an LED.
The plastic diffusor is a joke and makes it look like an Ikea light, but a $6 gel does the same thing better with some gaff tape. So it's not an issue.
Still, I got three of these for less than one of the "name brand" and haven't been happier.
Like I said, these things are awesome! (Posted on 3/21/13)
